Who we are
Event Operation Specialists (“EOS”, “we”) run the EOS Staff app and the EOS staff web app. Contact: eosevents.mail@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you register and use the EOS Staff app:
- your name, email address and mobile number;
- your date of birth, National Insurance number, home address and bank details (for payroll);
- the events you register for, your shifts, clock-on and clock-off times, breaks and confirmed hours;
- forms you sign;
- optional camping details you choose to add; and
- a device token so we can send you notifications about your shifts.
Why we use it
To offer you shifts, communicate with you and run payroll. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or track you across other apps and websites.
How long we keep it
We keep your active account for 14 months from your last shift. If you are inactive for 14 months, your account and profile data are deleted automatically. Financial and payroll records are kept for 7 years to comply with UK tax law, even after your account is deleted.
Who sees it
EOS administrators, managers and, for the shifts they supervise, supervisors. We use Google Firebase (Google Cloud) to store data and send notifications and emails, under UK GDPR safeguards. Personal data is protected, and can only be accessed by specific staff who require such access for the completion of a contract with you.
Your rights
You can see and correct your details in the Profile tab, and ask for your account to be deleted from the same tab (Delete Account & Purge Data). You can also ask us for a copy of your data or to restrict its use, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We will update this page if we change how we use your data.
